Art Installation Mosaic Project

Ms. Swanson is requesting funding to bring a local visiting artist, Michele Pollina, to Sunset Ridge for the creation of a community mosiac project that, when finished, will be installed on the Art Patio. The finished mosaic will consist of eight separate 12x12 panels. The plan involved a rotating schedule of students to maximize participation and engagement. 8th graders in Ms. Swanson's last-period class will lead the effort in design and organization, fostering leadership skills and encouraging collaberation among their peers.
