I Will Always Write Back

The fifth and sixth grade team is seeking money to purchase 115 copies of the book, I Will Always Write Back: How One Letter Changed Two Lives, by Caitlin Alifirenka and Martin Ganda. This true story explains how two very different teens, one from Pennsylvania and the other from Zimbabwe, became best friends through a six-­year correspondence. This memoir explains how one random, global connection inspired them to be better people.

The 5th and 6th grade teachers would like our students to read this book together, and hopefully coordinate a time to Skype with the authors.  Teachers will also coordinate school pen pal partnerships to give our students the opportunity to connect with other students across the globe.
