Loose Parts Playground Carts

We are requesting two heavy duty rolling utility carts for storage and transport of loose parts playground materials at Middlefork.

The goal of the request is to support the loose parts playground initiative through simpler, more efficient and effective storage equipment.  These 2 cards would replace the library book cart that currently houses the oversized wooden blocks and provide a faster way of moving large items (e.g., empty trash containers) in and out of the closet.  It takes a lot of extra adult time and effort to get the materials out and then put back, when it should be the students taking responsibility for cleaning up and putting things away, just like it is with all of the other recess equipment.
