Ninja Fitness Agility Course

I would like to purchase various equipment to use in a “ninja fitness-­agility course” as well as other units in PE.  Gymnastics, fitness- gram, Muscle–bone-­nutrition Mondays, etc. to enhance strength, balance, flexibility, coordination and endurance. These items could be purchased over time and would add to our current equipment (like climbing wall, mats, etc.)

• Alpine Climber -­ $1459.99 (want the climber and tunnel rope net to help with arm strength since we have no climbing ropes in the Middlefork gym… would add to our traverse wall as another station)

• Combo boxes -­ (1 set) $714.99

• Power cones and poles -­ $39.97

• Noodle connectors -­ $29.99

Delivery charge would need to be added based on items bought (could be $600)

The intended goal is for our students to be challenged physically, in a fun, new creative way. Many students ask about ninja courses in PE; I do not want high ropes or items attached to the walls so adding moveable pieces allows for differentiation and new challenges each time we “exercise”. This is a start-up request which might need further pieces later on. With the mandate to add fitness testing in various grade levels, this request is a great way of getting exercise from a non-traditional, boring way. Other uses could include different units in PE, special needs classes, or requests from individual teachers. Could be a fun community or grade level event!
