Sensory Room

Sunset Ridge School teachers are requesting funds to create a sensory/calming room for the students. This space would allow students a safe place to regulate their emotion and receive sensory needs in order to get them back into the classroom to be ready to learn. Each year between 50-100 students would benefit from the sensory room. This request is for funds to furnish the room with items such as a sensory swing, compression canoe, mat floor, sound machine, and many more items noted in the application.
