DISTRICT 29 PTO MONTHLY MATTERS
PRESIDENT’S WELCOME
Monday, June 2, 2025
Can you believe this is the last PTO newsletter of the year? Every June I find myself stunned by how quickly the year blew by and this one feels even faster than the rest. It has been an incredible pleasure serving as the PTO president this year and I know I speak on behalf of the Exec and the broader board when I thank each and every one of you for your time, resources, participation and support. We are so lucky to be a part of this community and none of what we accomplished this year would have been possible without you. Â
We still have our Family Fun Fair coming up on June 4th and we hope all of you will come out to enjoy inflatables, music and sweet treats. And in case you feel the void with the lack of school and the PTO, there are plenty of ways to stay involved over the summer with all our new initiatives that are launching next school year. If you are interested, feel free to reach out to president@district29pto.org.Â
With that, I pass on the PTO presidency to the mighty Sarah Cohn. I couldn’t imagine a better person for the role, and with all her creativity and passion for this school district I know next year is going to be fantastic!Â
Thank you all for everything,
Ranjini Shankar
